I like the character drawings. I dislike how they're mismatched with the title, which looks like a scan of a metallic book cover or card that could look cleaner with a digital redraw.

This is helpful, thanks! :)
I love the face. This character seems fun. The overall colors are fun. What I'm not pumped up about: At first I thought the lines were blood vessels. Looking again, that wouldn't make sense. Blood vessels don't grow in that pattern. So then I guessed scars. But thinking about more, they've got to be blood vessels. Anyhow, I like the clothes; slightly suggestive of a snake.
It's supposed to be blood flowing through his veins.
Gorgeous, and creative! I especially love her hair and the glow effects.
There was a technical problem you might want to know about . The image was extremely slow to load for me. Maybe the file size is too big? I'm not sure everyone would wait for the lady to appear.
Oh thank you!
Being honest, I didn't expect to see a comment on something as old as this piece... but in regards to the file size (iirc), yeah it's probably a bit big for what it's worth -w-
Lovely colors. Gorgeous curves. The shiny details are very appealing.
For me, the duck in the cage is less appealing. Just seems out of place. The bird is simultaneously the focal point of the image and partially hidden by the bright bars. I don't understand why. I'm not sure what's happening in this image.
But I'm guessing it's significant to the client, whose opinion is the one that really matters.
The stained glass background blends too well with the goth character, in my opinion, but it is very pretty, too.
Thanks for the compliments. I'll have to keep in mind the level of contrast between the background elements and the main figure next time.
As for the posing and goose, they were pretty much specified exactly by the client. The only thing I had much artistic liberty with was the design of the outfit.
I remember the '80s and '90s from personal experience. In these '20s, I'm mostly doing pixel art and illustrations. My goal for 2025 is to create a fantasy visual novel for ages 17+.
