Was a '80s and 90s kid. I'm mostly doing pixel art and story illustrations, posted randomly with notes. My preferences are for speculative fiction, characters fighting for their loves, and magical guys gaily kissing.

I don't know what's going on with the FEMA representatives for my state. I'm guessing they need better training. They're all giving off "I started this job a week ago!" and "We're can fake it until we make it!" vibes. That's not exactly reassuring when the process is confusing, convoluted, and unnecessarily painful. Just saying.

My home needs repairs after one of the recent hurricanes tore at it. Insurance is covering too little, and I'm not the type of insane to take out a federal loan in a situation that we've stuck with right now. Local loans are extremely unlikely because of discrimination. If we can't get the money for repairs... look, I don't really want to go back to living in a tent or an overpriced hotel. I've never wanted to go back to that. And I'm the most adaptable in my household.

Storm recovery is stressful like this.
